TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
If your school participates in a 6-week NFL Flag program, you may be invited to compete at the State Championships in Term 3 of the school year. The State Championship is a one-day competition against other schools in the region.
The winning team of each state will compete at the National Championships in Term 4.
The National Championship will take place on the Gold Coast for Australia and in Wellington for New Zealand programs.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The NFL Flag National Championship Tournament will take place in Term 4 of the school year. This is a one-day competition which will take place on the Gold Coast. To qualify for the National Championship, teams must win their State Championship.
Teams from each state of Australia will compete against each other in a full day tournament of NFL Flag. The winning team of the National Championship will proceed onto the International Tournament at the Pro Bowl Games in Orlando.
Travel costs to the Gold Coast for interstate teams will be covered by the NFL.
PRO BOWL
INTERNATIONAL
CHAMPIONSHIP
'Team Australia' will travel to the United States in late January to compete against other countries from around the world at the NFL Flag International Championship Tournament at the Pro Bowl Games.
The winning teams will have travel and accommodation expenses covered to compete at this event.
