TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
STATE AND REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
If your school participates in a 6-week NFL Flag program, you may be invited to compete at the State and Regional Championships in Term 1 in Australia or Term 2 in New Zealand 2026. The State Championship is a one-day competition against other schools in the region.
The winning team of each state will compete at the National Championships in Term 2 in Australia and New Zealand.

The National Championship will take place on the Gold Coast for Australia and in Wellington for New Zealand programs.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The NFL Flag National Championship Tournament will take place in Term 2 of the school year. This is a one-day competition which will take place on the Gold Coast, Australia and Wellington, New Zealand. To qualify for the National Championship, teams must win their State Championship in Australia or Regional Championship in New Zealand.

Teams from each state of Australia will compete against each other in a full day tournament of NFL Flag. The winning team of the National Championship will proceed onto the International Tournament in the USA.

Travel costs to the National Championship for interstate teams will be covered by the NFL.

INTERNATIONAL
CHAMPIONSHIP
'Team Australia' and 'Team New Zealand will travel to the United States to compete against other countries from around the world at the NFL Flag International Championship Tournament.
The winning teams will have travel and accommodation expenses covered to compete at this event.
